Havasu Gold Seekers Inc. Is
A non-profit gold seekers club in Lake Havasu City, Arizona with over 1400 acres of gold bearing claims!
The Club was started in early 1993 when a small group of Lake Havasu residents got together for the purpose of recreational gold prospecting in the desert near the City of Lake Havasu, Arizona. The Club started with about 20 men and women and grew slowly until February of 1994 when the Club elected officers and adopted by-laws. The newly elected President, Dan McCarty and Vice-President, Denny Craig and six other members formed an association and filed four placer claims totaling 640 acres. From that point on the Club has grown to over 300 members and 1400 acres of placer gold claims and has purchased its own privately own land near the claims for Club activities such as Family outings, BBQ's, camping and of course, GOLD PROSPECTING!
